Rainsoaked Eyes

it's raining in my mind
flooding my cranium
my eyes swim
in
rainwater
tears

there's a wavy image
floating in
my rainsoaked eyes
all i can make out
are those eyes
thru
luxurious hair
delicate hands
a graceful posture
suspended in the waters

somehow
something more
comes thru
a presence
a passion
a sweetness
there
untouchable
unobtainable

all penetrate the rain
and somehow
soak my mind
more thoroughly
